What's On
Here at The Volley, we have a very active social calendar.
Enjoy live music, stand-up comedy, a weekly quiz, a famous Sunday roast, as well as major sports fixtures and pay-per-view events, such as boxing and MMA.
This is just usually. We also have brewery tap-takeovers, gin festivals, beer festivals, Oktoberfest celebrations, and many more special events throughout the year, so you’ll have to keep an eye out for out special calendar entries.
Live Music
We regularly have live music at the Volley. It ranges from jazz bands to rock bands to acoustic guitar duos.

Sunday Roast
The Volley’s Sunday roast service is famous, and very popular.
Think big Yorkshire puddings and crispy roast potatoes, optionally finished off with sticky toffee pudding and a hot toddy.
We are also proud to serve a completely vegan roast.
When?
Every Sunday, with food served from 12pm to 5pm. Booking is strongly advised Click here to book

Pub Quiz
Show off how much (or how little) you know with The Volley’s weekly pub quiz.
There are over £100 worth of prizes to be won, including first prize of a £50 bar tab.
Expect to be put through your paces by Quizmaster Ed, but make sure to give him his pen back, or it might just cost you a point.
Entry costs £2, and teams may have up to 6 members.
When?
Every Wednesday. The quiz begins at 7.30, but feel free to come earlier. Click here to book a table.
Stand-up Comedy
The Volley is the home of the Comedy Loft, a Bristol-based stand-up comedy club.
With local comedians, as well as those who have toured on the national circuit, expect to laugh, cringe, groan, but more importantly, laugh.
Tickets are free via headfirst, but you still have to book a space.
